working with Daddy

Last Monday we were able to join Sean at work while he did some testing.  The kids thought it was great fun to "go to work" and help out.   It's always fun when we get to see some long horned cattle and a cave.   I had to bring the camera of course and I even captured a hawk that was down in the cave trying to cool off.

The boys are the ones that spotted the Hawk!

Stetson had to wear his work clothes he said "Mom, I have to wear these pants 'cause I'm going to work!"

and yes..... we all wear silly hats in the hot Arizona sun :)

putting on masks so they can watch Daddy crush rocks.

 always a dirty job.....
local ranchers run cattle all over the place... watch out for Cow pies!

Independence Day 2013

Every year at this time I am so thankful for our country! It may not seem to be going in a good direction but lets remember where our country came from and never stop praying for it :)

We celebrated yesterday by just spending time together.  Sean and the kids helped me clean up the house (and we actually had fun) together! After all the chores were done we spent a few hours at the pool.  I always have so much fun just watching my family have fun together!  We look forward to every weekend when Daddy gets to join us.   I think Sean enjoys it as much as the kids...... wait ................ he is a kid!

We decided before the evening festivities that we would go home for dinner and take a short nap. Everyone fell asleep and was refreshed to go again. We headed back over the to the school where they had water bounce houses and slides. Met some nice local folks and watched a really nice small town fire work show.

The last photo was a 19 shot barrage of fireworks in honor of the 19 fallen Granite Mountain Hotshots.

Water fun....

Can't really say "Fun in the Sun"  because most of our pool time is now spent at an indoor pool!  Thank you Jesus!  What a blessing this place has been. Since having 110 to 117 degree weather I can not tell you how nice it has been to able to take the kids indoor.. to cool water and cool air and NO SUNSCREEN! Also, we have become really good friends with all four of the lifeguards  :o)

Here are some photos of the kids having some fun!
We did go to the splash pad to switch things up last week.

 Stetson the goof ball....
Still the strickster in the family!
Colton wanted me to share his "big splash" photo! You can kind of see him swimming this way under the water :) Silly boy.

Carley's attempt at shooting moms camera... kinda blury... could only "fix" it so much!
